DT-150s are some of the best all around cans you can buy, whether for casual music listening or studio recording. And, they are built like a tank. . .except for the ear pads. I wore mine out in less than two years. The Alpha Pads fit them perfectly (though very snugly. I had to pull pretty hard to get them around the frames). Be forewarned that the pads do change the soundstage, making them feel just a bit more closed in and with a little deeper bass; I like it. It is not a big change, but noticeable for those with sensitive ears.

I got these for the JVC HA-SZ2000 Bass Cannons and WOW....These pads are amazingly comfortable. They definitely open up the sound stage of the SZ2000's to a different level (yes they aren't going to sound like open backed but sound stage has open up'd big time). I am very very happy with these pads I highly recommend.

If wondering, these do fit the JVC HA-SZ2000 Live Beat System Headphones. I absolutely love my new Alpha Pads, which I installed the moment my new Live Beats arrived from Japan. Thanks to the Alpha Pads, these headphones have an elevated sound stage and you can't beat the everlasting comfortability. Well worth the money and investment. Thank you Mr.Speakers!!!!

They fit mine: DT-990 Beyedynamic
I ordered these on a recommendation of a friend. I wasn't sure they would be worth it but they added a whole new level to my open back headphones.
They were a bit of a challenge to put on because the DT-990 have a more circular shape then the squarish shape the pads come in but if you stretch the leather a bit the fit snuggly on the headset.
They did create a more "closed" sound stage so if you like the "open-ness' of open back headphones and don't want that affected probably don't get these.
But if you have a nice pair of open-back headphones and you're missing the bass "umph" of normal headphones these pads are for you!
Also they are comfy!

Are they really worth it? Not for me, no.

I give it a 4 star because they're definitely comfortable, real leather and quality by the way it feels. Can't fit on my AKG K702 so I have to resell them on ebay unfortunately. By comparing side to side, they don't seem way better than the brainwavz ear pads which are half the price, can't tell about the sound differences though. Probably a 5 stars, but they don't fit my AKG, sorry. I do recommend them to anybody who knows they will fit for sure, but for the price, not really.

I installed these pads on a pair of otherwise completely stock Fostex T50RP MK3 headphones.
Installation was relatively painless and took just a few minutes, although it did require some dexterity and patience. Once I had figured out how to accomodate for the "shrouded edge" of the new MK3 cup design, it was quite easy. The fit is perfect on these headphones, and the pads look great. They also appeared to fit just fine on a pair of AKG K240 that I fit them to.
Comfort is excellent, they provide more than enough room for my ears and plenty of cushion. The leather is never "sweaty" or sticky, although if your environment is on the warm side of comfortable already you may find your ears get a little toasty. I've only noticed this when the temperature in my house is higher than 77, but your results may vary.
These pads did change the overall sound characteristics of the headphone fairly significantly, but I found the changes to be entirely positive. Keep in mind, these are my subjective and unscientific observations. Bass response seemed to extend lower and be more full, resulting in overall better bass out of this headphone. The flip side to this is that it resulted in somewhat "boomy" or bloated feeling bass with some bass heavy tracks. I didn't notice as drastic of a change in the mids, though with the added bass they feel a little pushed back as compared to the stock pads. I also did not notice significant changes, besides maybe just a better, more balanced impression throughout the range. In summary, I prefer the sound of these headphones with the new pads as opposed to the stock pads, but it is different.
I feel that with some minor mods to the headphones to further shape the frequency response to my preference, they will be able to achieve a remarkable level of sound quality. When you take into account the price, it's even more impressive. I'll be using the MrSpeakers Alpha Pads from here out on these headphones, and will certainly be trying them on others as the opportunity arises. They are absolutely worth the investment, for any headphone, regardless of price.
MrSpeakers got my order out right away, and when I contacted them a few days later because I hadn't received a tracking # I received immediate, great service. Turns out it was just an email issue. The pads had gone out the day I placed my order and were on my doorstep when I got home, ahead of schedule. I highly recommend both this product, and company!

Amazing pads.
Starting from the quality of the leather, ending with the great sound quality those things provide.
It is really worth it, please do not wait, do not search different solutions, this is the one.
Thank you Dan and cheers!

Really beautiful pads. Works perfectly with AKG K550 (fitted in 5 minutes without any difficulties) and are a great improvement in sealing and comfort.
